If you're using Windows and you've installed a Canon driver, VueScan's built-in drivers won't conflict with this. If you haven't installed a Windows driver for this scanner, VueScan will automatically install a driver.

Hi,I have got a window 10 drivers problem in Canon 8800F Color Scanner when I thought wanted to update drivers from windows7 to windows 10 os at my canon scanner but I don't know how to do find windows 10 drivers for my cannon scanner7. I have a asked some of the persons they also said that they didn't the answer for that my friend has suggested me to download the on driver website which I will problem solve. I have downloaded the windows driver Now it is good working and better performance. If you download that windows driver then you will get better performance.Thank you.
I hope someone can help me out. I have a Canon LIDE 25 scanner that Iam trying to get to work with Vista.Canon has Vista 32-bit drivers posted on their website. I triedinstalling these drivers and the Canoscan software, but I am gettingerror messages.Firstly, the scanner is not showing as listed in the Canoscanapplication - where you select what scanner you have.Secondly, I keep getting a "TWAIN" error. I believe it says "no TWAINsource detected.I though I had everything installed right. There is a "WIA" driverfrom Canon that doesn't seem to install at all.I did have the scanner running for a while, the first time Iinstalledit, but ever since I rebooted it gives me the two errors above.I hope that someone here has also installed a newer Canon scanner andhas worked this problem out.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
If your LIDE 25 does not scan correctly or executes an error code2,7,0: 1. Download and install the latest TWAIN drivers from Canon. 2. Update the driver via DEVICE MANAGER.3. Make sure your LIDE 25 scanner is connected to a PC USB port and nota hub. For some reason Scangear executes a code 2,7,0 error if thescanner is on a hub.*When all else fails, read the manual! It could save you from buying anew scanner. ;)-- Walrux------------------------------------------------------------------------Walrux's Profile: View this thread: -hardware-devices/687046.htm

It has a built-in utility for installing drivers, which is essential for a scanner to work properly. Its list of devices is extensive and you can search for the right driver for your CanoScan LiDE 25 printer by name. You can install the driver manually, or use the built-in utilities of the device. You can find a CanoScan LiDE 25 driver for Windows 10 for Windows 8 in the Device Manager.
You need to install the latest Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 driver for Windows 10. This is the best option for your scanner. You can download the latest drivers for your Windows operating system through the official website. It will also help you to update the software. The Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 printer driver for Windows 10 is an excellent choice for a general-purpose scanner for home. If you need a scanner for your Mac, you should consider the Canon LiDE 25.
What a shame that Canon expects us to dump our lide scanners because Canon refuses to provide the driver/software needed for newer OS like win7-64. Is Canon waiting for a class action law suit? Maybe we should swarm canon and the web with complaints about such arrogance.
it worked!! thank you! upgrade to windows 10 (x64) from 7(x64) stopped scanner from working. i have old scanner canoscan lide 25 (i think). my only driver choice was lide 60 so picked it and now scanner working fine again with windows 10. thanks again for great tutorial!!
Thank you so much for this. I had almost given up on using my Lide 35 in windows 10 x64 when I saw this. I downloaded the Lide 60 drivers and unpacked them, then selected the Lide 60 driver as per the instructions. Now that I have the Toolbox version 4.9 installed instead of 4.5 it seems to work fine and sees the Lide 35 as Lide 60.
Yes, this is the normally way to install the printer drivers for your system. And for printer, actually, there are some printers cannot compatible with the new system windows 10. Also, this aricle will shows you the canon printer support system details.
If you have a canon lide 50 this is another way of making it work on windows 10 64bit boot in advanced mode that requires no signatures for drivers (look elsewhere on how to do this) [DONT PLUGIN THE SCANNER]
If you do not pull up Canon drivers in your driver profile, you will need to download the LiDE 60 drivers. Use WinRar to unpack it to a folder, and then search for the driver in whichever folder you unpacked it. I was able to click on the driver, my system let me know it might not work with my device, it installed it successfully, and I was able to scan with my LiDE 35 in Win7 64 pro, no problem. Really and truly, thank you for this tutorial. I was reading tech forums, but it was hard to follow as it seemed there were missing steps, too many alternate software suggestions, or it was poorly written. 2ff7e9595c
